Keep Your Stuff in a Chest
Your bag fills up fast. A chest is a big box you drop on the ground to hold everything you're not carrying — so you can travel light and never lose your good stuff.
Why bother
Everything you mine and craft goes into your bag, and it only holds so much. Once it's full, new things have nowhere to go. Worse — if you're ever knocked out, you drop everything you're carrying. A chest back at base fixes both: stash your spare blocks, ores and tools, and head out with just what you need.
Craft a chest
You need wooden planks (chop a tree, then turn the logs into planks — same as you did for your crafting table). At your crafting table, fill the grid with planks and leave the middle square empty:

That makes one Chest. Right-click to place it on the ground.
Fill it up
- Right-click the chest to open it. A big grid of empty slots appears — 27 of them — above your own bag.
- Drag items from your bag into the chest to store them. Drag them back out to take them.
- Close it when you're done.
Your stuff stays safe in there until you come back for it — even after you log out and return.
A tip or two
- Put your chest somewhere you'll remember — right next to your bed and campfire makes a tidy little home base.
- One chest filling up? Place another beside it, or upgrade the one you've got — ring a placed chest with 8 of a tier's material (copper, iron, diamond or Satori) to grow it, all the way from 27 slots up to 72. The top two tiers (Diamond and Satori) even auto-collect nearby dropped items for you. Full recipes are in the Wiki's storage-blocks page.
- Stash your best tools and ores before you go adventuring or fighting. Then if the worst happens out there, you've not lost them.

You've got a home for your things. Travelling light and stashing the rest is the difference between losing a hard-won pickaxe and keeping it for good.
